Looking for a panoramic view of the lake? We highly recommend heading over to Eagle Rock, located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. This volcanic outcrop sits above State Route 89 in Tahoe Pines at an elevation of 6,286'. This hike is short, taking about 20 minutes to reach the top and provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake.
When driving down State Route 89 on the west shore of the lake, the parking area is located between mile marker 67 and 68. There is no official parking lot, but there is a sign at the mark of the trail by the parking area.
As a side note: There is no developed facilities (restrooms, benches, tables, etc).
Hike Level: Moderate
