FEATHER RIVER

The Feather River is very low, but still fishable in some sections. Anglers are doing best by drifting crawlers thru rapids into pools and tossing rooster tails or panther martins. Dry fly fishing is doing best early evening with parachute adams, mosquitos, and stimulators.

LAKE DAVIS

All docks are out of water. Anglers are still able to launch smaller aluminum boats. Anglers are trolling the main channel in 18-25ft of water with dick nites and small rapalas. Shore fishing has been slow here since water is shallow from shore. Bass fishing at Eagle point camp 5 is doing well.

FRENCHMAN RESERVOIR

No fishing here right now because of the damage from the beckworth complex fire. Road is closed at Goodwin’s General Store.

LAKES BASIN

All lakes have been stocked multiple times.

GOLD LAKE

Dock is in the water. Anglers are trolling 25 feet down in 30 feet of water catching some nice browns and macks. Most sizeable fish are being caught off or near the bottom. Shore fishing directly across from the main dock or to the left of the dock is doing best. Shore anglers should try floating crawlers off the bottom 3 to 4 feet.

SNAG LAKE

No current updates.

SALMON LAKE

Fishing very well for anglers. Shore fishing by the outlet to lower salmon seems to be the best spot. Boaters and kayakers tossing lures in the middle of the lake are producing good fish.

PACKARD LAKE

Fishing is good at Packard. Shore anglers should try fishing from the large rock.

SARDINE LAKE

Fishing is good right now at Sardine. For boat rentals, call and reserve ahead. Shore fishing past the boat ramp is the best spot.
