Every paint project requires you to choose how you want your paint to look when it’s finished. Do you want your project to have more of a luminous finish or a flat, non-reflective finish? Flat Enamel

Flat enamel paint offers a non-reflective finish. It has the least amount of shine and is good at hiding minor surface imperfections.  If you have touch ups to make on paint, this sheen works well.  If you are going for a textured wall look, then try Flat/Matte paint.  Keep in mind this paint is harder to clean, so it’s a good option for low-traffic areas and ceilings.

Eggshell Enamel

Eggshell Enamel offers a more luster than flat finish.  Overall it’s a less shiny finish and it is easy to clean.  It’s more scuff-resistant than flat/matte finish.  An Eggshell finish would be ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, kids rooms or high-traffic areas.

Stain Enamel

Stain Enamel gives a luminous finish and long-lasting durability.  It’s great at resisting dirt and stains making it easy to clean.  Try this sheen in a bathroom, kitchen or active rooms like mudrooms or a child’s bedroom.

Semi-Gloss Enamel

Semi-Gloss is a great washable finish that is tough on activity it gets.  It does well at resisting water and stains like grease, wine, crayons and more!  It’s great at high-moisture and high-humidity areas. If you are painting over a wall with semi-gloss already on it, keep in mind this paint does require prep when painting over it.  It’s best to apply semi-gloss on kitchens, bathrooms or cabinets.

High-Gloss Enamel

High-Gloss Enamel gives a brilliant and shiny finish that’s end result is a glass-like finish.  It’s highly durable and easy to clean.  Try this sheen on windows, doors, trim and areas with frequent that require frequent washing of walls.
