Lead Cashier

The Lead Cashier position is essential to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. As the Cashier Lead, you will oversee and manage a team of cashiers, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions at the registers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer experiences. Plumbing Department Lead

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Plumbing Department Associate to
join our team. The Plumbing Department Associate will assist customers in finding
the right plumbing products, provide product knowledge, answer inquiries, and
support them throughout their purchase journey. This position requires a deep
understanding of plumbing products, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for
delivering exceptional customer service. They will also assist management with
daily store operations and supervision of co-workers.

Retail Stocker

This job is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, helping others, problem
solving, and conversing with guests. Greet and assist all guests of Mountain
Hardware and Sports connecting them to the proper product and/or service.
Maintain back stocking areas, restocking, and organizing of store products and
displays throughout all departments.

Paint and Stain Associate
FULL-TIME
This job will keep you active and engaged throughout the day, greeting, and
assisting customers with Paint & Stain questions, and helping them with paint
mixing and matching. You’ll be trained in how to mix different paint colors along with different paint and stain applications and processes. The painting season is heating up and the department has a nice customer service buzz. The ideal candidate will have paint & stain experience. Customer service and or retail experience is a plus.

Building Materials & Shed Associate
FULL-TIME
If working outside and being active is your ideal work environment this could be the position for you. As a Building Materials/Shed Associate you will help customers load building materials, assist with propane fills and perform cuts of wood and other materials for customers. Additionally, you’ll assemble BBQ’s, patio furniture, snow blowers and other items. This position is an active one – you’ll be on your feet all day, lift heavy items and operate a forklift. Our Shed Associates do all the “heavy Lifting” so to speak in our operation ensuring that our customers are efficiently served and that our shed and outside premises are organized and sharp. The ideal candidate is up for some hard work, enjoys being active and is looking for a year-round, full-time position. Our Building Materials/Shed team is a fun bunch!

Inventory Coordinator
FULL-TIME
The Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our Mountain Hardware store. This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while meeting customer demands and business objectives. Inventory Coordinators stock and count supplies and report any differences between the actual count and the stock levels in company records. They identify damaged, returned or mis-ordered inventory and fill out the appropriate paperwork for inventory write-offs.

Work with our experienced receiving team managing deliveries and transfers of all the wonderful products we offer to our customers. It is quite fun processing the wide variety of products received in our Donner Pass warehouse. This is a fast-paced job requiring that you be on your feet all day. The ideal candidate can work a full-time, year-round schedule and is good with numbers and accuracy. Receiving/warehouse experience a plus.

Purchasing, Receiving & Inventory Associate
FULL-TIME
A core and vital role at our store, the Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory Associate will be responsible for creating purchase orders, checking in orders and ensuring inventory levels throughout the store are accurate. While this role is dedicated to our Incline Village store, the Associate will partner with the Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory Associates at our main store/headquarters and at our other stores. The ideal candidate will be good with computers, have strong communication skills and have a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.

Equipment Rental Yard & Counter Associate
FULL-TIME
Come join us at Truckee Rents helping homeowners and local contractors with equipment sales, rentals, and service. As a Yard Associate, you’ll prep rentals for pickup, check in returned rental equipment, provide instructions to customers on operating equipment and do basic service on equipment such as refuel, clean and test. The role also includes assembling new equipment that has been sold and preparing for customer pickup or delivery. At the rental counter, you’ll answer the phone, perform cashier duties, manage rental reservations, and submit warranty claims. And during the winter months, you will be instrumental in receiving, assembling, and getting snowblowers ready for customers. This role is perfect for someone who loves equipment and working with people. The ideal candidate will have equipment and customer service experience and is looking for a year-round, full-time position.

Small Engine Mechanic
FULL-TIME
Come join us at Truckee Rents helping homeowners and local contractors with equipment sales, rentals, and service. As a Truckee Rents Mechanic, you’ll perform routine maintenance and repair of rental equipment and customer equipment, discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers and participate in preparing cost estimates for repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience with snowblowers, chainsaws, generators, lawn and garden and rental equipment and is looking for a year-round, full-time position.
