Our broad selection of goods is what makes us convenient, but the locally-made products we carry are what make us unique. The great craftsmanship and ingenuity of the products made in our community are what keep our customers coming in for more. We believe that by carrying local products, we can further strengthen our communities.
Rescued Wines
From wine to candles. Rescued Wine candles are hand-poured and blended in small batches right here in Truckee. Using artisanal techniques and high-quality supplies – they believe their one-of-a-kind deliciously smelling candles have a greater purpose. The “rescued” in their name is because of their mission to give back to animal rescue groups. Which is why 10% of their annual profits go towards animal rescue efforts.
Did we mention their candles are environmentally responsible? Rescued Wine Candles are made by re-purposing wine bottles that are then cleaned and cut by hand. With their signature and spirits collection, you can bring scents like backwoods moonshine, tequila sunrise, and Merlo into your home for the perfect cozy ambiance.

Truckee Love.
Truckee love. started in the heart of Lake Tahoe with a simple idea: selling locally inspired clothing and accessories to underscore the importance of making local, buying local, shopping local, and sharing their love of Lake Tahoe and the Truckee area. They also encourage people to engage locally; by getting to know your trails, rivers, farmers, brewers and really connecting with the community.
Mountain Water Canvas
Founded by Jessica Luca Stevens in 2003, Mountain Water Canvas originated as a subcontracting sewing business on the Westshore of Lake Tahoe. One summer of sewing in Tahoe to support Luca’s other career as a professional ski patroller soon became the primary focus of her work life. While learning to craft high-quality boat canvas, the abundance of leftover marine canvas inspired many side projects, including the original prototypes for the current generation of reclaimed fabric bags.

Trip Tarp
“You don’t need everything, just everything you need.™”
TripTarp was developed by a professional backpacking guide and a team of Emmy Award-winning information design creatives, along with extensive insight from a collection of outdoor professionals and hikers. The product was born from a need to ensure that packing decisions made in the frontcountry didn’t dictate decisions made in the backcountry. It formalizes a process already used by adventure travelers the world over.
Their goal is to ensure every backcountry adventure follows the map as closely as possible and they stand for balancing wilderness preservation with open access for all, and creating products solely to promote that mission.
Take on your next backpacking trip with the trip tarp.
