Sharon’s Essential: Camelbak Hydration Pack (Reservoir) System with insulated Crux Tube

Sharon uses her Camelbak hydration system all year to keep her hydrated when out and about on the trails in Truckee/Tahoe. During winter adventures, she changes out the tube in her reservoir to the Crux Insulated tube. This way she doesn’t have to worry about her water freezing – keeping hydrated on the trail is essential!

When exploring the backcountry on her skis, Kristine doesn’t leave home without her Ortovox transceiver. This small device sends out a signal when turned on, which can also be discovered when another transceiver is in search mode. When paired with practice and education, the Ortovox 3+ is her mighty piece of equipment in a small package.
