Chances are if you’ve fished with a California guide at any point you’ve fished these awesome high floating helpers, and once you’ve tried them it’s hard to go back to a thingamabobber.

The small can hold up most nymphs and midges and even up to a size 8 balanced fly and is more sensitive to fish grabs.

Medium is best for longer casts in lakes and a little larger tungsten flies.

Large is only needed for very heavy flies like size 4 Balanced Minnows or if it is a super choppy day on a lake and you want more buoyancy.
